Company History

1959 Nojima Electric Industry Co., Ltd. established in Sagamihara-shi, Kanagawa
1962 Company incorporated as Nojima Electric Company, Ltd.
1973 Pioneered the industry by creating a specialized single-component audio section at the Sagamihara store, which was well-received as a suburban specialty store
1982 Opened Japan’s first AVC (Audio Visual Computer) category store in Sobudai (Kanagawa),which gained a reputation for its specialized product lineup and attracted a growing number of customers from distant locations
Company reorganized as Nojima Electric Company Co., Ltd.
1983 Introduced of a POS (point-of-sale) system with Sharp, ahead of other companies in the consumer electronics distribution industry.
Opened Nojima Machida, our first store in the Tokyo area, before starting to open roadside stores primarily in the Kanagawa and Hachioji (Tokyo Tama) area
1989 Expanded into Saitama Prefecture with the opening of Nojima Sayama
